Megan and Connor’s wedding day was the kind of day that just felt sacred from start to finish—full of authenticity, peace, laughter, and a whole lot of love. These two radiate a quiet confidence in their love for one another, and more than that, in their shared love for Christ. It was a joy to witness and an even greater honor to photograph.
They tied the knot on July 19, 2025, with their ceremony at the stunning Old Christ Church in downtown Pensacola, followed by a reception just around the corner at Voices of Pensacola. From the moment Megan slipped into her thrifted, hand-altered dress (yes—she designed it herself!!) to the final joy ride in their green Mini Cooper, every part of the day was a reflection of them: playful, intentional, and full of heart.
A Laid-Back Day Full of Big Love
Megan and Connor’s day was laid-back, goofy in the best way, and deeply grounded in their faith and connection to one another. There was no rush, no stress—just the kind of peace that comes when everyone knows why they’re there: to celebrate a love that’s real and rooted.
One of my favorite moments? Connor’s reaction during their first look. Megan handed him a handkerchief, and let’s just say… it came in handy. The soft light filtering through the stained glass windows inside the church added such a timeless touch to their portraits, and their joy just glowed through every frame.
They also threw in a faux send-off after the first look—with the whole wedding party gathered around them cheering. It was such a fun way to create those sparkler-style photos without the time crunch later in the evening.
Thoughtful Details + Thrifted Magic
So many of the elements throughout their day reflected Megan and Connor’s personalities. The decor and rentals were all thrifted—a beautiful nod to their creativity and intentionality. Megan’s dress was also thrifted and then custom-designed by her, which still blows me away. Her sister-in-law, McKenzie, stepped in as coordinator and did an amazing job keeping the day flowing seamlessly. And my second shooter Madison Lee helped capture every angle along the way!
From the First Look to the Final Drive
I had the joy of capturing 6 hours of their day, from getting ready through the very last hug and wave. The stained glass windows at Old Christ Church gave us this stunning classic-meets-dreamy vibe, and our couple portraits were intimate, warm, and full of real connection. I edited their gallery with autumn-inspired tones, soft warmth, and a few black-and-white favorites that just hit extra hard emotionally.
Their night wrapped up with a joyful getaway in a green Mini Cooper, and it was the perfect send-off for two people who bring their own flavor of joy wherever they go.
Also—I rented the Nikon Z8 for this wedding and... okay, that’s going on my must-have list ASAP. The clarity and tones were incredible!
